Richard, thank you for your blog and you tube videos. I am a woman BUT I'm Cherokee and I try to use a lot of the old ways in my life. Granddaughter got a deer last year and wanted me to make a wall hanging. Told her I would try this year. I just finished following your fleshing for deer. I think I'm starting to get hang of it it took me awhile but did it all correctly as you instructed! Thank you once again. Delaney and Wado
ReplyDeleteYou sure made my day. I really appreciate you taking the time to write in such great comments. Fleshing is a ton of work, isn't it?! A lot harder than some folks think it would be. I'm glad you're passing onto others, and using herself, the old ways. We need to keep them alive. Pam and I have found women pay more attention to details when processing wildlife. So, the end product is usually really well-done. I'm sure the deer you did looks good. Now, the next time you do it, it'll be that much better. Thanks again for writing in. Take care. - Rick
