  1. Hey Richard thanks for all the help I have successfully mounted a couple squirrels and almost feel like it was to easy and now cant wait to do something larger. I have just recently got a badger that I would like to do next do you have any badger videos? If not do you have any advice? Also does this hide have to be tanned or can it be dry preserved ? Thank you so much for the knowledge I've already gained through your videos .

    1. Thank you for your great comments. I appreciate hearing them. I think I may have a badger video, but, it is raw and needs to be edited and published. I just started a coyote rug video. So, I'm probably not going to be able to get to the badger one soon. But, would definitely be happy to help.
For a badger, it is critical to get ALL the fat off him. Yes, you can dry or wet tan; either one.
I'm glad to hear you're moving on to a badger from the squirrels. Badger mounts are really good looking.
Good luck and email me anytime with your questions.

  2. Hello, I was wondering if there's a way you can do a taxidermy crab? I saw your fish video and enjoyed it and many more. Just wondering if you can do one of a crab.
    Thanks, Angel!

    1. Oh, boy, Angel, that would be tough to take apart a crab and try to get it back together to taxidermy. I don't know how it could be done. I would think you're best bet would to have it Freeze Dried. I also see where they are selling crab reproductions, like they do for fish. Good luck to you. - Rick
